When we were kids, we didn't see riding a bike as insurmountable. We saw it as necessary, and put in the time. When we were teenagers, we saw driving a car as a freedom earned with a bit of effort. All the skills we've learned have enriched our lives.
This one does that in spades.
Much like riding a bike, this is a skill that most people can - and should - acquire. Like driving a car, this skill is best learned with training. Like playing an instrument, drawing, or doing backflips, this skill is an impressive point of pride. Also, like whistling or winking, you'll eventually feel silly if you're the only one that can't do it. Use whatever motivates you!

YOU CAN DO IT!
LEVEL 1
Getting a feel for the wheel.
This is where you begin. We start by letting your body get used to the new muscles it will be using, and adjusting to the weight and balance of this new vehicle.
LEVEL 2
Understanding the machine.
You'll begin to feel what this thing is capable of, how it moves, and how you control it. This is the part where you start to bond with the wheel.
LEVEL 3
I like to move it move it.
Now you get to glide a little. You'll develop the ability to go and stop, mount and dismount. Here, you'll start to feel what it's like to ride.
LEVEL 4 (and up)
Hit the road, Jack. Time for you to leave the nest and fly.
Don't worry, we don't abandon you! We'll have regular events and rides for our community members to get together and hone their skills while having a blast.
